Corruption is a penalty for your income. The base percentage of corruption is calculated as follows:
%Corruption = ( LordCorruption + Total ProvinceCorruption ) / 10 + 2 * Difficulty - 18
LordCorruption is based on events, and can be negative.
Difficulty is 0 to 6 from Beginner to Overlord.
ProvinceCorruption = ( SiteCorruption + RaceCorruption ) * ( Administration reduction )
SiteCorruption is 10 for Thieves Guild, both guarded and unguarded. Bandit lair doesn't increase corruption.
RaceCorruption is as follows:
Race | RaceCorruption |
---|---|
Centaurs | 0 |
Dwarves | 15 |
Elves | 5 |
Goblins | 20 |
Halflings | 10 |
Humans | 10 |
